Dear Patient,
Our office follows infection control recommendations set forth by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies’ recommendations.
You will see some changes when it’s time for your next appointment. We’ve made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example:
Upon arriving for your appointment, please call the office and our staff will ask you some screening questions over the phone.
We will be operating with a virtual waiting room, so patients are not permitted to wait inside the building. Our staff will come and get you when they are ready to seat you.
You will be asked to use hand sanitizer and your temperature will be taken before you are seated.
Our staff will be equipped with recommended PPE, including barriers between patients and staff at our front desk.
Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment. (We are very sorry for any inconvenience but again, your health and safety is our top priority)
As always, we will do our best to be prompt and reduce waiting times for you, as well as reduce the number of people in our building at any one time.
We are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we’ve taken to keep everyone in our practice safe. Thank you in advance as we work hard to prioritize and accommodate a back log of patients needing treatment. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to seeing you soon.
